Biennial Budget Request (BBR) The BBR is intended to serve as the SWCD's annual plan of work, support local water management planning and project development, and improve state and local coordination of funds used by local governments for project and activity implementation.
Annual Plan of Work & Budget/Annual Report The purpose of the Annual Plan of Work is to guide supervisors and staff in promoting and implementing conservation programs and activities in the upcoming year, and to help the citizens of Faribault County manage their soil and water resources more effectively. In addition to this report, the Faribault SWCD must also report annually to Faribault County Board of Commissioners, BWSR, MPCA, and other state agencies on funding provided to the district.
Natural Resources Block Grant (NRBG) Summary Report The SWCD annually reports to BWSR on funds received for the implementation of the Local Water Management Plan, which includes the Wetland Conservation Act (WCA), Shoreland, Subsurface Sewage Treatment Systems (SSTS), Feedlots, and State Cost Share. This is done through their reporting program, eLINK, which enables the state to not only more efficiently manage programs, but also be able to measure positive advances in water quality and soil conservation.
Conservation Delivery Conservation Delivery grants provide each SWCD with funds for the general administration and operation of the district.
Easement Delivery Easement delivery grants are allocated to each SWCD as compensation for local monitoring of easements and conducting spot checks.
